Fabulous Newport Day Tour

Known as "America's First Resort," Newport, Rhode Island, is host to yachts, mansions, and millionaires. Visit the 70-room summer home of the Vanderbilts—The Marble House—and wander the newly restored waterfront for great food and numerous shopping opportunities.

Completed in 1892, the Marble House—a 500,000-cubic-foot, white marble summer "cottage"—was presented to Alva Vanderbilt by her husband, William K. Vanderbilt, as a gift for her 39th birthday. After a tour of the 70-room mansion, wander the beautifully restored waterfront on your own; sample local fare for lunch as you explore the numerous shops. On the water side, view the sleek racing sailboats, private yachts, Newport's local fishing fleet, plus other ships from around the world. After the free time, explore another of Newport's mansions, and then sit back and relax for a ride along Ocean Drive before heading back to Boston. The 10-mile ride along Ocean Drive includes views of spectacular mansions and secluded coves.

After you book your activity, follow these 3 easy steps:

2. Follow the redemption instructions on your voucher; it is critical to do this before you depart.
3. Take all vouchers with you; you must redeem one voucher per person.

If your hotel is not on the pick-up route you may go to a nearby hotel on the pick-up route or you may choose to meet the tour at the address on your voucher(s). Please contact Gray Line of Boston if you have any transportation questions. After pick-up, you will meet the tour bus at the Gray Line of Boston Ticket Office; please present your voucher(s) to the Gray Line representative.
